stuff you would anyway (and maybe at a discount)?

Words is now registered with iGive.com.
iGive helps various causes raise money by arranging to have online
stores donate a percentage of purchases. It works like this: a
shopper signs up, and then through the iGive website visits some of
the hundreds of stores listed there. If he or she makes a
purchase, up to 27% of the price goes to a cause he or she
chooses. Sometimes merchants offer discounts available only
through iGive. For example, right now you can get free
shipping on any Barnes & Noble order that's $25 or more, 50% off
at The Gap, and free shipping at Circuit City. Shoppers can
even earn money for their cause just by recommending iGive to
friends.
What will the money be used for? Here are some
of our current goals that we need your help to achieve:
- Hiring more teachers
- Offering a wider variety of classes
- Enhancing the prizes in our contest (adding online bookstore
gift certificates or scholarship money)
- Moving towards making all our classes and critiquing services
free
To show our appreciation for those who help, each month we
will give a free critique
to the person who raises the most money for Pomegranate Words (which
they can give to themselves or their favorite young writer), and
recognize them on this website.
